Spoilers for 'Bulletproof' Season 2 Episode 2

'Bulletproof' Season 2 introduced a number of new cast members and one important casting change with Vanessa Vanderpuye stepping in to play Arjana Pike in place of Lashana Lynch. The young actor has delivered a memorable performance in the role and in an interview with MEA WorldWide (MEAWW), Vanderpuye revealed that her sex scene with Ashley Walters (who plays her husband Ronnie Pike) was her most memorable moment from the sets because it was her first-ever sex scene.

"For me, because it was my first ever sex scene, that was my most memorable, I suppose. I wouldn't say it's my favorite. Let's say the most memorable because they took so much time, to be sure that I felt completely comfortable," Vanderpuye revealed. "We signed contracts to make sure I was comfortable with what I was happy with exposing, which is really nice in this day and age. So especially with the whole #metoo movement, it was really good that they took that on board and made sure I had control of my own body. So it was really nice but again, that was my second day on set. So it was a great way to, I suppose, know Ashley Walters in a more intimate way. It kind of broke the ice where we just felt very comfortable playing husband and wife on-screen, because we had to tackle that very early on."

While Vanderpuye and Walters share great chemistry on set, the season isn't all milk and honey for the couple. Right from the start of the season, there's a lot of drama that only escalates once Pike goes undercover. "I think it's really real," Vanderpuye said about the marital problems between Pike and Arjana. "I think no relationship or marriage is perfect. Especially with social media, all you can see is everyone's highlights. So it's good to show that. But at the same time, we show it in a level way."

"You know, that he does love me but at the same time, he has a role that he has to fulfill. And there's not everything he can tell me as well. So I have to respect that. And then with my career as a lawyer, I have certain things that I can't trust with him as well. So it's bittersweet. But at the same time, we're very good at communicating that and trying to resolve that for the sake of our children."

'Bulletproof' Season 2 airs in the US on Wednesdays at 9 pm ET on The CW.
