Spoilers for 'Bulletproof' Season 2 Episode 1

'Bulletproof' Season 2 has landed on The CW with a high-octane action story that's full of cool cars, expensive watches and a lot of laughs for the audience. This time around, the show is bigger than ever with Aaron Bishop (Noel Clarke) and Ronnie Pike (Ashley Walters) going after an international crime family. One of the biggest changes in Season 2 is that Lashana Lynch is no longer playing Ronnie's wife Arjana Pike. Despite the actor's love for the show, she couldn't find the time to film for it because of her packed schedule.

The role is instead being handled by Vanessa Vanderpuye this season and Episode 1 dealt with the change in a hilarious one-liner. In the episode, we see Bishop show up at the Pike home and meet Arjana and he casually mentions that there's something different about her, asking her if she changed her hair.

It's not much but it is nice to see the change addressed without blowing it up into a big thing. And considering how much we loved Lynch in Season 1, it would have been a shame if the change wasn't addressed at all, or worse, if Arjana was killed off off-camera just to avoid the problem.

Oh, and the best part? That line wasn't even in the script and was improvised on the spot.

"That was a Walters/Clarke creation," Clarke told Metro back in March. "That wasn’t in the script. We had to say something, we had to address it somehow and make the audience laugh, but at the same time, get over it."

It was definitely a fun moment and despite the casting change, Episode 1 did give Arjana her moment in the spotlight, showing her interact with both Bishop and Pike and giving her an emotional moment when a dear friend dies of an overdose. Also, there's a bath scene between Arjana and Pike that's steamy and funny at the same time.

With undercover operations and crazy drug lords, Season 2 has a lot of things going on. But we're hoping we still get to see plenty of Arjana before the season wraps up.

'Bulletproof' Season 2 airs Wednesdays at 9 pm ET on The CW.
