Is BTS Jin OK? K-pop idol undergoes surgery after minor injury, fans say 'get well soon'
It is always sad to hear when K-pop idols are injured but idols getting surgery due to an injury adds to the worry of many fans. Early in 2022, Jimin of BTS became one of the many K-pop idols to announce a short break that he would take in order to undergo surgery for his acute appendicitis which the ‘Serendipity’ singer has completely recovered from, HYBE Labels subsidiary, Big Hit Music, the label that manages the activities of BTS released their official announcement regarding BTS’ oldest member Jin’s health status.
BTS Jin reportedly underwent surgery on the index finger of his left hand and is currently said to have been recovering from the same. Although the issue is not as serious as it seems, fans of BTS are worried as they believe Jin holds his microphone with his left hand and are talking about how his index finger rested on the mic when he performed at the BTS concerts.
BTS members are all set to perform at the 2022 Grammys in Las Vegas in April and soon after that, the boy group is going to headline the ‘PTD on Stage - Las Vegas’ concert for four days from April 8 to April 16.

BTS Jin undergoes surgery after a minor injury
Jin is reportedly recovering from his surgery and will continue his activities with BTS like he usually does only this time around, he will be wearing a cast on the index finger of his left hand. In their official statement, BTS’ label stated that Jin injured his left index finger during his daily activities, and soon after that he visited a nearby hospital emergency room on Friday, March 18. Upon consultation and examination from the doctors, it was assessed that BTS Jin was required to undergo surgery on his finger.
Big Hit Music stated that the tendons of Jin’s finger had been partially damaged. It was stated that Jin underwent surgery to repair the extensor in his left index finger on the afternoon of Friday, March 18 which was successful. It was also announced that Jin has been discharged from the hospital as of March 19, 2022, and is currently resting. Following this, Jin will be appeared wearing a cast over his finger for the time being for stabilization and a speedy recovery.
For the time being, it is stated that Jin will be resting in order to fully recover from the injury and will only resume his activities once he is healthy.
