'Bringing Up Bates' Season 9: Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about the UPtv show
The Duggars are not the only supersized family on television. Their family friends, the Bates, 40 members and growing family have a TV show of their own as well. 'Bringing Up Bates' is now gearing up to return to TV for its ninth season and here's all you should know about it.

'Bringing Up Bates' releases on July 23, 2020.
Plot
The official premise of the new season reads, "As 'Bringing Up Bates' Season 9 continues, follow the family as Carlin and Evan welcome their first child and Tori and Bobby expect baby #2. There’s also a courtship on the horizon for Katie. The new episodes will also highlight how the Bates family adjusted to life in quarantine."
Cast
The show revolves around Gilvin “Gil” Bates and his wife Kelly Jo Bates who are parents to 19 children. Their first child, a son named Zach was born in 1988 and over the next 20-plus years, the Bates went on to become parents to 18 more kids. They now range in age from 30 to 7 and couple of the older children have married and most have gone on to have kids of their own. Gil and Kelly now have a handful of grandchildren with a couple more on the way.

Zach, 30, is married to Whitney. They have three children
Michaella, 29, is married to Brandon Keilen. The couple has no children and Michaella has opened up about her infertility struggles on 'Bringing Up Bates'.
Erin, 28, is married to Chad Paine. They have four children.
Lawson is 27 years old and single, though there have been rumors that he might be courting Jana Duggar.
Nathan is 26 years old and also single.
Alyssa, 24, is married to John Webster and has three daughters.
Tori, 23, is married to Bobby Smith and they are now parents to two children.
Trace, 22, recently announced he’s dating Chaney Grace.
Carlin, 21, married Evan Stewart in May 2019. The couple was blessed with their first child in February 2020
Josie, 20, is married to Kelton Balka and has one daughter.
