LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hallmark Channel is set to premiere its new family drama film 'Branching Out' on Saturday, April 27. Directed by Maclain Nelson, the movie features Sarah Drew, Cora Bella, and Juan Pablo Di Pace in key roles.

The plot revolves around single mother Amelia's journey to find her daughter's biological father, aiming to complete their family tree. Along the way, they encounter challenges that test their trust and lead them to rediscover the essence of love and family.

Sarah Drew stars as Amelia Weber, a single mother raising her daughter Ruby in 'Branching Out'. Known for her roles as Hannah Rogers in 'Everwood' and Dr. April Kepner in 'Grey's Anatomy', Drew was born on October 1, 1980, in Stony Brook, New York.

After high school, she pursued Drama at the University of Virginia, where she also voiced Stacy Rowe in MTV's 'Daria'. After graduating in 2002, Drew made her screen debut alongside Cuba Gooding Jr. in the sports drama 'Radio'.

Juan Pablo Di Pace

Juan Pablo Di Pace, known for his versatility as an Argentine actor, singer, and director, takes on the role of TJ, the biological father of Amelia Weber's daughter, in 'Branching Out'. Starting his career in the United Kingdom, he performed in various musicals and appeared in films like 'Survival Island' and 'Mamma Mia!'.

Later, he moved to Spain, starring in numerous television series from 2009 to 2013. Fluent in Spanish, Italian, and English, Di Pace's journey from Buenos Aires to Spain and then London has been marked by his passion for the arts. He gained acclaim for his stage performances before transitioning to screen roles, including notable appearances in 'Saturday Night Fever' and 'Fuller House'.

In 2018, Di Pace was a contestant on Season 27 of 'Dancing With The Stars' and was paired with professional dancer Cheryl Burke. They earned the first perfect score of the season on week three, after earning four more perfect scores and holding the highest average of the season they were eliminated in the semi-finals. This caused lots of tension between the show and its fans and also resulted in people boycotting and starting petitions about the scoring system.
