Rami Malek is next James Bond villain, warns 007's "ride in his 25th film would not be an easy one"
Guess we'll have to wait for some more time before the official title of Bond 25 is revealed. The cast of the upcoming 007 movie, however, was revealed by director Cary Fukunaga. Daniel Craig reprises his role as the British spy while Ben Whishaw, who plays Q, and Ralph Fiennes, who plays M, will also return.
Lea Seydoux will portray her role as Dr. Madeleine Swann while Naomie Harris returns as Eve Moneypenny. The list of recurring characters include Jeffrey Wright (Felix Leiter) and Rory Kinear (Bill Tanner)
As speculated, Rami Malek will play the villain in the upcoming movie. Dali Benssalah will play a role in the movie as well. The announcement was made in Jamaica on April 25, one of the locations where 'Dr. No' (1962) was shot.
Talking about the movie, Barbara Broccoli, the producer, dropped a couple of tidbits about the movie. Bond will not be on active service, but rather relaxing in Jamaica.
In addition, the movie was also shot in Norway and Italy. In a live appearance on social media, the cast of the movie spoke about their experiences on making the movie, while Rami Malek sent in a pre-recorded video stating that he would make sure that "Bond's ride in his 25th film would not be an easy one."
Rami Malek seems to confirm he is playing the new James Bond villain.
