'Bobby is back!' Fans excited as Damian Lewis announces his return to 'Billions' in Season 7
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Season 7 of Showtime's 'Billions' is almost here. While fans cannot wait for that, here's some news that will surely make them happier. Damian Lewis, who plays self-made billionaire and fan-favorite Bobby Axelrod, will be returning for the upcoming season. The drama received acclaim for its grounded storylines. However, fans were left disappointed with the outcome of the last two seasons of 'Billions', particularly after season 5.
'Billions' has six seasons and a total of 72 episodes so far. While promoting his new show 'A Spy Among Friends' on the 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert', Lewis confirmed his return to 'Billions'. He said, "Bobby is back. He is coming back." He did not specify which episode he would be back in, but that was enough for fans to start celebrating.
