Contains spoilers for 'Billions' Season 6 Episode 6 'Hostis Humani Generis'

The cat and mouse chase between Mike Prince (Corey Stoll) and Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) are effectively underway. As 'Every Breath You Take' by The Police plays as the end credits roll, 'Billions' Season 6 Episode 6 rings memories of some devious moves that the New York AG has made over the last five seasons. He's playing chess, bides his time, and makes his move. 'Hostis Humani Generis' is all about the doors closing in on Prince who's oblivious to the man Rhoades has planted on his side.

The much-awaited Kate Sacker (Condola Rashad) vs Dave Mahar (Sakina Jaffrey) battle sees the latter take a win and deliver a blow. It's like the New Orleans Saints pulling the rug under Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But that battle isn't done yet. Taylor (Asia Kate Dillon) shuts down a potential 'Prince List' client when he brings conflict. Okieriete Onaodowan ('Station 19') makes an appearance as Leon, an NFL player who has a company called the Combine, a next-level home workout enhancer.

When he refuses to be operated with MPC which also manages the pensions of the MTA and all the bodies that come under Prince List, he threatens to leave and take a major chunk of the clients with him. Taylor puts an end by using Winch, an app that Rian insists on investing, and later uses it to shut Leon down. It's a classic Axe move, but one that suggests that Taylor is one in complete control irrespective of the obstacles. Meanwhile, Rhoades searches for a way to undermine Prince’s largesse and does so effectively cutting off the state-of-the-art trains that MPC is on the verge of signing off on.

This episode shifts the tide of the battle, but it's still in the early stages. Prince's moral compass will get a major test, but it does appear that he and Scooter have a major plan in place, one that they quietly discuss in the last few minutes of the episode. Is their grand plan to retire rich? Or place the likes of Taylor or Wendy to run MPC? We could be wrong, but for now, this win belongs to Chuck, and he's savoring it like fine wine.

'Billions' airs Sunday nights at 9 pm on Showtime.
