'Blue Bloods' season 10: Release date, cast, plot and everything you need to know about the latest season of CBS' hit police procedural drama
The Reagans are back. This time for a tenth season. The police procedural drama 'Blue Bloods' that sees the family of cops busting down crime has been one of CBS' top shows for a while now. The show debuted in 2010 and has seen some gripping action for nine seasons now. Ahead of the series premiere in September, here's what we know about the show so far.

'Blue Bloods' will premiere on September 27 at 10 pm ET.
Plot
Season 9 was off to a great start with Danny taking on a case involving Louis Delgado (Lou Diamond Phillips), a drug cartel member. As the series progresses, we saw Delgado as a criminal mastermind. The series also saw Erin promoted. There's every chance that Delgado will continue to cause problems throughout the rest of the series, and potentially beyond. The new season may see Erin try and come to grips with her new responsibilities. At the moment, there isn't much about season 10 that is revealed but rest assured, the series will deliver.
Cast
Donnie Wahlberg will be back as investigator Danny Reagan, while Will Estes plays police officer Jamie Reagan, Bridget Moynahan is essays assistant district attorney Erin Reagan, while Len Cariou comes in as former NYPD Police Commissioner Henry Reagan. Sami Gayle returns to play Nicky Reagan-Boyle, while Andrew and Tony Terraciano play Danny's sons, Sean, and Jack Reagan. Abigail Hawk, Marisa Ramirez, Robert Clohessy, Vanessa Ray, and Steven R Schirripa round up the rest of the cast. The best news, however, comes in the form of Tom Selleck coming to play Frank Reagan
Writer/Director
Leonard Goldberg, Kevin Wade, Ian Biederman, Brian Burns, and Siobhan Byrne-O’Connor, serve as EPs of the series which is produced by CBS Television Studios.

On a night that many have claimed is quiet for broadcast television, it's quality writing, superb acting and familial warmth have attracted an average of over 13 million passionate viewers each week for nine years. We are delighted that Tom will return and that the show will continue to be a vital component of the CBS schedule next season."
According to Variety, the show joins previously renewed CBS shows for the 2019-2020 slate, including 'FBI,' 'NCIS,' 'God Friended Me,' 'Mom,' 'Young Sheldon,' and the final season of 'Criminal Minds.'
