Furious fans of Blackpink took over social media recently as they demanded an update on the K-pop girl group's musical comeback. While the group members seem to be busy with other non-music projects, including Jisoo's hit K-drama 'Snowdrop', Blinks are not having it anymore about the undue delay. Millions of fans across the world are eagerly waiting for the group's next album as well as Jisoo's solo debut and Jennie's comeback.

Fans took to Twitter to slam Blackpink's management agency YG Entertainment, warning them of a global boycott on official Blackpink merchandise. "Blinks demand an update on the status of @BLACKPINK
's comeback, Jisoo's solo debut and Jennie's comeback. We no longer have the goodwill to fund @ygent_official & will continue to BOYCOTT Blackpink merchandise. YGE, respond to Blinks!" tweeted a Blink Union account, which was later retweeted by thousands of others. The boycott, if Blinks indeed decide to through with it, might see a concerning dip in the agency's revenue.

It has been over 15 months since the release of the band's last album, only with Lisa's solo track 'LaLisa' dropping in the meantime in September 2021. With each passing day, the uproar against YG Entertainment's silence continues to increase. In fact, fans have made past threats to boycott YGE and curb their sources of revenue. However, the South Korean artist management agency is yet to issue any statement to reassure or update the frenzied fans.

"15 MONTHS!! IT HAS BEEN 15 MONTHS!! Where is blackpink? Where is Jisoo's solo? Where is Jennie's solo? We blinks won't stay silent this time! #WeWantBlackpinkMusic," a fan tweeted.

Another lashed out, saying, "As pinks' management company, your work ethics are so poor. You promised things but always delayed to fulfill, due to which they have small discography. They are musicians let them explore Music. Blinks assemble YGE, respond to Blinks! #WeWantBlackpinkMusic #YG_피드백_요구."

"ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! We won't be silent this time, its been 15 months and counting. Don't halt their achievements and success, don't waste their precious talents! — BLACKPINK DESERVED BETTER YGE, respond to Blinks!," a third fan tweeted.

Another desperate fan said, " It's been 15 months and counting since their last comeback! We won't be stopping unless you give a response, don't play blind and deaf. HEAR US YOU, YG ENTERTAINMENT!"
