'Blind Date' Season 9: From awkward conversations, twerking lessons to body paint make-out sessions, Episode 3 had it all

'Blind Date' might be back after 13 years, but they sure have a lot to catch up with when it comes to the dates because, in the end, they all seem boring. With just three episodes into the season, fans have taken to social media claiming they want 'Cash Cab' back and not 'Blind Date'.

Back again on Wednesday night for Episode 3, tonight we were introduced to two new couples who meet for the first time without having a chance to stalk each other on social media. The first couple we met was Kevin and Lexi, both 26.

Kevin is a product specialist who is looking for love and done being friend-zoned. But what the series should have introduced Kevin as, is the guy who cannot make a proper conversation. Lexi works in construction insurance and has her bars set way too low. No wonder they set her up with a guy like Kevin on a blind date. All she is looking for is a guy who is not a douche bag, doesn't cry and is not mean. Well, Kevin ticks those boxes. While he might have been confident about not being friend-zoned, Lexi thought otherwise.

Tyranny and Jamil hit it off on their blind date. (Bravo)

For the first part of their date, the couple went to a gaming arena, but instead of making it fun, Kevin starts talking about living in the age of inequality getting Lexi bored. But she sticks around for his once in a blue moon jokes. Heading over to the second part of their date they go for a nice comforting ice spa, but Kevin found a way to ruin that too with his awkward conversations. Sadly, he remained friend-zoned after the date.

The second couple we were introduced to was construction worker Jamil and bartender Tyranny, both 25. Jamil is now looking for something after having his share of games. He reveals his last relationship ended just the day before his blind date. Say what?

Tyranny is tired of being used and in second place. She wants to be number 1 and has no one cheat on her again. Looks like Jamil has huge shoes to fill, but he handles it pretty well. For the first part of their date, the couple head over to twerking class, where they learn to twerk that butt off. Jamil has a fun time having Tyranny grind all over him. They hit it off pretty well.

For the second part of their date after a few drinks, the couple head over to make their bodies canvas's as they paint each other. The duo clearly seemed into each other and waiting no longer before they got down and dirty with the paint all over them. After a heated make-out session, they decide to go on a second date, and we wonder if it was a success or not.

Jamil and Tyranny's date was the only highlight of Wednesday night's episode. What did you think? Let us know in the comments below.

'Blind Date' airs every Sunday to Thursday only on Bravo. Check your local listings for more information.
