'Bless the Harts': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and everything you need to know about Fox's animated family comedy series
'Bless the Harts' is a new animated comedy coming to Fox Broadcasting Company. The show has been made and produced by Emily Spivey and follows a group of Southerners who are always broke as a joke.
Release Date
The show will premiere on September 29, 2019. The show will air on Sundays at 8.30 pm ET/PT on Fox Entertainment Channel.
Plot
The show is a half-hour animated comedy sitcom about the Hart family — a bunch of Southerners who are always broke and grappling to make ends meet. Jenny Hart (Kristen Wiig ) is a single mother trying her best to support her family by working as a waitress in the small town of Greenpoint in North Carolina. Betty (Maya Rudolph), Jenny's mother, is obsessed with lottery tickets and is always behind Jenny to scam her. The other member of the Hart family is Jenny's daughter, Violet (Jillian Bell) and her boyfriend Wayne Edwards (Ike Barinholtz) who is also an indirect part of the Hart family. The animated show revolving around this family promises to be a laugh riot.

Kristen Wiig
The actress, producer, writer and comedian will be doing the voiceover for the lead role of Jenny in the new animated comedy series. Some of her other work includes NBC's sketch comedy series 'Saturday Night Live' ( 2005-2012). She also has been a part of many comedy movies such as 'Knocked Up' ( 2007), 'Bridesmaids' ( 2011), 'Girls Most Likely' ( 2013) and a lot more. She has also been part of the animated 'Despicable Me' series.
Maya Rudolph
Rudolph is a well-known face in the Hollywood film industry. She is an actress, comedian, singer, and voice artist. She gained her first prominence on screen in the mid-1990s as a member of the rock band 'The Rentals'. After a decade of work with 'The Rentals', she joined 'The Groundlings Improv Troupe' of acting. She was made the cast member on NBC's late-night sketch comedy series 'Saturday Night Live' in the year 2000. After that, her career bloomed in supporting roles in films like '50 First Dates' (2004), 'Idiocracy' (2006), 'Grown-Ups' (2010), some of her more recent work was in 'Life of the Party' (2018) with Melissa McCarthy and 'Wine Country' (2019). She will be doing the voice-over for Jenny's mother Betty Hart in this new animated series.
Jillian Bell
Bell is known for her recurring role as Jillian Belk on 'Workaholics' and as Dixie on the last season of 'Eastbound & Down'. She is an actress and a screenwriter. Her other roles have been in '22 Jump Street' (2015), 'Fist Fight' (2017) and will be starring in the upcoming film 'Brittany Runs a Marathon (2019). She will be voicing for the role of Jenny's daughter Violet Hart in 'Bless the Harts'.
Ike Barinholtz
He is an actor, screenwriter, producer, director and, comedian. He is best known for his work as a cast member of the comedy series 'MADtv' ( 2002-2007), he also worked alongside Jillian Bell on 'Eastbound & Down' ( 2012) and 'The Mindy Project' ( 2012-2017). He will be doing the voice-over for Wayne in this new animated series as Violet Hart's boyfriend.

Emily Spivey
She is the writer, producer, and creator of the new animated comedy series 'Bless the Harts'. She also has been the creator behind the series 'Up All Night' (2011-2012). She was also a member of the show 'Saturday Night Live' as a staff writer from 2001-2010. She has also been awarded an Emmy Award in 2002 and a WGA Award in 2008 for her contribution to the 'Saturday Night Live' show.
Phil Lord and Chris Miller
They are a filmmaking duo who happened to meet at Dartmouth College when they were studying there together. They are best known for animated films like 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' ( 2009), 'The Lego Movie' ( 2014) and also for the live-action comedy movie with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, '21 Jump Street' ( 2012) as well as its sequel '22 Jump Street' ( 2014). They have also been a part of producing the animated films 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' in 2018, for which they won an Oscar Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
