'Black Ink Crew': Rachel-Ryan's storyline dragged for too long? Fans say 'don't care anymore'
'Black Ink Crew Chicago' saw interesting updates this week, with regard to relationships. While Don Brumfield and Ashley Pickens's marriage has been dragged to court, Rachel Leigh and Ryan Henry are trying close all the loops in their highly-confusing, open-ended relationship. While they navigate the possibilities, fans are tired of watching them go back and forth in their relationship. Most are of the opinion, they should focus on co-parenting because that's what they are best at.
"This Rachel & Ryan storyline needs to be deaded already #BlackInkCHI," a fan commented, while another shared: "Can we get something new from the Rachel/Ryan storyline? #BlackInkCHI."
"Yeah they great co-parents and that’s the extent of it. She never really looks happy," a user tweeted. "It should have been closed years ago. We don’t care anymore," another expressed.
Clearly, the fans don't want to see more of Ryan and Rachel together because this is a stretched and uncomfortable relationship. Even though they have known each other since high school and have been sweethearts since they were kids, it doesn't have to mean that such a deep history will translate into something concrete as a future together. Rachel seems to strongly go by this notion.
What about Ryan? He appears perturbed about how his efforts to move past the bitterness have been thwarted by Rachel's tendency to bring up the bygones. From the looks of it, he wants to move on too and is only looking for an opportunity to do so.
While Rachel isn't currently seeing anyone, Ryan has always had a soft corner for Kitty Sovain. But, will she take him back after such inappropriate behavior? Kitty has had issues with Ryan's attitude ever since Charmaine held the gender reveal party where he simply stopped talking to her because Rachel was around.
Ryan, however, tried to do some damage control at one of the other parties but Kitty was in no mood to accept his apologies. And what made it worse was Ryan going on a vacation with Rachel and their son. This totally ruined things for Kitty.
