'Big Brother' Season 22: Will Janelle and Kaysar form an alliance to beat Cody and Memphis?

Kaysar Ridha and Janelle Pierzina have known each other from before, will this help them form an alliance?

'Big Brother' Season 22 has kickstarted the competition and it looks like everyone is trying to save their place in the game. The August 9 episode of the show saw the first nomination ceremony. Cody Calafiore was the only one who saved himself from being in the spot of elimination as he was crowned as Head of Household after winning the competition. 

That being said, he was in the spot to pick the people he wanted to be blocked and out of the house. Cody admitted that it was hard for him to make a decision as it was too soon into the game. However, one thing that worked in his favor was the fact that all of the contestants had played the game before. 

Knowing full well that some of these contestants appeared on the same season, Cody saw Kaysar Ridha and Janelle Pierzina as strong candidates and people who could form an alliance against him. Kaysar and Janelle had appeared together in Season 6 and 7 of the show. The two have played together and admitted that they trust each other. 

Meanwhile, Cody thought his plans aligned with Memphis Garrett. Just like Cody, Memphis too went to the end of the show in his season by being faithful to a duo alliance. Keeping this in mind, Cody thought Memphis could be someone he can work with. However, to make that a reality, he planned on taking Kaysar and Janelle out by blocking them.

Unfortunately, his idea did not work as both of them decided to go to the safety suite with the hope of saving themselves from elimination. While Kaysar won the round, he decided to choose Janelle as the second person to share his immunity with. Undoubtedly, Cody was thrown off the track and he was forced to think of a new plan.

Looking at how Kaysar and Janelle have started to team up, viewers of the show think they will make a good alliance. "Tbh Janelle, Kaysar, and Ian would be an AMAZING alliance," one user wrote. "Janelle and Kaysar swiping safety at the literal last second. king/queen shit," said another.

Meanwhile, some thought that the pair had to be careful in the coming weeks as they were going to be a target. "Glad Janelle and Kaysar are safe but it's gonna take a feat for both to even make jury IMO. Both have huge targets on their backs which will only get bigger the more they win..." read one comment. 

Another added, "They dodged a bullet this week but Kaysar and Janelle have a lot of work to do. It's going to be difficult to take the targets off their backs. Need an HOH reign next week." Will the two form an alliance to make sure they are not in the bottom two in the coming weeks?

'Big Brother' Season 22 airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm ET on CBS.
