Spoilers for 'Big Brother' Season 22 August 19 episode

Things got heated in the house this week after Memphis Garrett put David Alexander and Nicole Anthony on the block. Some of the members of his alliance thought that Memphis was rude to his fellow cast members. Tyler Crispen was vocal about how he did not support Memphis for the way he had treated David.

Keeping that in mind, he made it clear that he would be winning the power of veto (POV) if given a chance and save David. Luckily for him, his name did get called out. For this week's POV competition, Tyler, David, Nicole and Memphis were already nominated for the game. The other two people who joined them were Ian Terry and Nicole Franzel. For the POV competition, the players had to stand in the middle of a star box and were given the task of holding a ball on a stick. Whoever would hold the ball for the longest, would win.

As the competition started, all the players showed they were focused on winning. Unfortunately, a couple of minutes into it, they started feeling pain on their hand. Nicole A was the first one to eliminate and was followed by Nicole F. Later, Ian dropped the ball and was out of the game. This left Tyler, David and Memphis still in the game. David decided to scream in the middle of the game to throw Memphis off the track, but it did not work in his favor as his ball fell after some time. This left only Tyler and Memphis in the game. Even though Tyler wanted to win the game to save David, in the end, he lost the grip and the ball fell.

This landed the win on Memphis's lap and he got the POV. He had the choice of changing his block or keeping them as it is. Memphis hinted that he did not want to use his power. However, his alliance members thought it would be a good decision to put Janelle Pierzina on the block because she had identified five alliance members out of six.

Memphis felt the pressure from his alliance and at the end of the day, he decided not to use the POV. Will David or Nicole leave the show this week?

The next episode of 'Big Brother' Season 22 will air on August 20 at 8 pm ET on CBS.
