'Big Brother': Is Cody a 'dumbass' for saving Nicole? Fans say he 'cut his own throat' by giving her a chance
After 79 days, 'Big Brother' Season 22 has its final three housemates — Enzo Palumbo, Cody Calafiore and Nicole Franzel. Christmas Abbott, who put up a tough fight for almost 12 weeks, said goodbye and moved to the jury house. She had been campaigning ever since she was put on the block but seems like Cody knew who it was going to be with him in the final week.
Christmas, however, had a valid argument that if he takes Nicole further then it might impact the jury votes because she has been a winner before and that may or may not influence the jury members' decision. However, Cody seemed fixated on his opinion and said that he will do what is best for the game. Even in her exit speech, she pointed out that if he saves her from elimination and if she goes on to win HOH, she will take him with her to the final week. Sadly, Cody could not be convinced.
Meanwhile, fans are of the opinion that voting Christmas out was a bad idea because Nicole, if and when she gets a chance, will take Cody out.
"Cody just cut his own throat," a fan commented on the show's official Facebook page, while another shared: "Why did he take Nicole???? Is he crazy? Why give her a chance to win AGAIN!!!!!! She should have went week one. Although Cody should’ve went home long ago too. I thought this was All Stars! They sure aren’t playing like they are." Another said, "I hope Cody loses now. WTH was he thinking taking Nicole to the final 3." Another posted, "Agree I don’t like Nicole but I hope she wins the game."
"Congratulations Cody you are an official 'Dumb Ass!' Not sending Nicole home is truly one of the dumbest moves in BB history," a fan wrote. "Nicole is savage, if she wins the final HOH, she's going to evict Cody #bb22 #BigBrother," a viewer tweeted.
