'Big Brother' is back with another season. Blessing our lives in lockdown, CBS is bringing Season 22 of the show. The show, which normally airs in June, had to be pushed due to show timing changes caused due to coronavirus. However, despite the delay, it promises a lot of drama and entertainment to the viewers by bringing in an all-stars cast.

While the show has a format of disclosing the contestants ahead of its premiere, this time, the network is shaking things a bit. Rather than disclosing who the contestants are, the show will have a live premiere where they will reveal the entire cast that is set to go and spend time together.

While speaking to EW about the upcoming show, executive producer Allison Grodner teased the show and said, "For the first time ever, we are having a two-hour all-live premiere, which means that everything is happening as it's happening. And it's going to expect the unexpected and a roller coaster ride for everybody. But in order to do this, we certainly have made this an incredibly active jam-packed two hours that is going to keep these all-stars really busy."

She continued, "So there's a lot going on. It's completely different than a regular premiere. You’re not going to see the players talking to us in the diary room. That's not possible on live opening night to edit that in. So there'll be a lot of action and a lot of Julie guiding the conversation, but it's bound to be really exciting." The show is also taking measures to make sure everyone's healthy amid Covid-19. The houseguests will get a Covid-19 test before going to the house. Once they are in the house, they have will have to undergo the test again while quarantining and not staying in touch with the other cast members, as reported by Pop Culture.

At the same time, no live audience would be present for any of the episodes. As of now, some of the faces that one might see on the show are Season 19 winner Josh Martinez, Season 8 runner-up Daniele Donato, Season 18 alum Paulie Calafiore, Season 18 winner Nicole Franzel, Season 20 runner-up Tyler Crispen, three-time contestant Janelle Pierzina, Season 14 winner Ian Terry, Season 12 winner Hayden Moss and Season 20 alum Bayleigh Dayton, as reported by TMZ.

While these names are not finalized, we will have to wait and see who the contestants of the upcoming season would be.

'Big Brother' Season 22 airs on August 5 at 9 pm ET on CBS.
