'Big Bang Theory' renewal: CBS President teases season 13 and revival of medical drama 'Code Black'
During the last season of renewal/cancellation, a great many shows suffered a tragic fate as various cable networks, including CBS, chose to give the boot to certain long-running TV series. In the canceled lot was also the Robe Lowe-starring popular emergency room drama, 'Code Black'. While chances of a fourth season for the series had seemed almost impossible earlier, CBS president Kelly Kahl recently fuelled hope.
Speaking at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, Kahl, on Sunday, not only mused on the possibility of bringing the medical drama back but also teased the show's rather positive performance.
“It’s doing incredibly well, it’s a well-done show. We’d like to figure out a way to maybe make it work,” the CBS executive told the press at the event adding, “We’re going to take a look.” Coming from the network's Entertainment President, this is certainly a good news, however, until an official confirmation, we urge 'Code Black' fans to take this update with a pinch of salt.
