BFFs turned lovers? Jamie Lee Curtis and Melanie Griffith spark dating rumors after suspicious social media post
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Lee Curtis and Melanie Griffith have been joined at the hip for over three decades. The duo has been known to weather the trials and tribulations of life together, ever since their first on-screen appearance in 'She’s in the Army Now'.
Following Curtis' recent Academy Award win for her performance in 'Everything Everywhere All at Once', Griffith was one of her first pals to come out and congratulate the achievement while publicly noting how much she values their bond. However, after decades of shared history, camaraderie, respect, and love, some are wondering whether the two actresses are taking their relationship to the next level.

Griffith took to Instagram to express her adulation for Curtis after she won the Oscar for ths Best Supporting Actress. "How wonderful is my girlfriend Jamie Lee Curtis?" Griffith gushed. "She is truly 'Everything, Everywhere, All at Once'. I love our meals together, our conversations which run the gamut of life and love and evoke laughter, tears, and precious memories. Here's to you Jamie!! I love you to the moon and back," she added.
The rumor mill went on overdrive in recent weeks with the actresses neither confirming nor denying the nature of their relationship. However, the social media post from the 'Pacific Heights' in which she referred to Curtis as her "girlfriend" is being construed as a confirmation that the two might be involved in a romantic relationship with each other.
Enduring bond
Curtis and Griffith have upheld and celebrated their friendship through the years, showering each other with compliments time and again. In a joint conversation with Interview magazine, the duo noted how grateful they were to have each other in their lives. During the interview, Curtis mentioned her final death wish to her fellow thespian. "I want to die in an alive mental state. Getting older makes you more alive," she said.
On the other hand, Griffith noted how the pair has been "through a lot together and separately" in the decades of their enduring friendship. Griffith was notably an exclusive guest at a ceremony last year where Curtis had her hands immortalized in cement outside of the TCL Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard. The pair shared some emotional moments at the event, where the Hollywood hunk, Arnold Schwarzenegger, was also present. The bodybuilding icon has reportedly also been friends with the actresses for the longest time.
During the interview, Griffith also explained why her best friend is an icon. "An icon leaves a mark in history. Which is what you have done, and continue to do," she gushed. Curtis, who considers herself a "dot connector," thanked her for the compliment while mentioning that life is good, Fandomwire reported.
