'Beyond the Edge': Metta World Peace almost QUITS show on day one

The premiere episode of CBS's 'Beyond the Edge' sees show host Mauro Ranallo give a thorough introduction to the celebrity contestants. He tells them what they can expect on the show, that they'll be living in extreme conditions (in a jungle!) and that the last man standing unlocks the win and a chance to donate to a charity of their choosing.
The last leg of the episode saw Ranallo asking if anyone wanted to back out and ring the bell, to which Metta World Peace answered in the affirmative. He said that he didn't feel safe in the jungle, and genuinely had no confidence in his survival skills. Meta adds, "I don't know what I'm doing'. Fortunately, he is motivated by Coach Mike Singletary, who talks him down from leaving, adding that he is on the show to hear a voice from God. Metta says that his only purpose to stay is that the outcome is charity. Read on to know what fans think.
