LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After getting into a scuffle with an unnamed co-star on set, actor Michael Mando has reportedly been dismissed from Ridley Scott's upcoming Apple TV+ series 'Sinking Spring'.

'Sinking Spring', which is based on Dennis Tafoya's book 'Dope Thief', follows two longtime Philadelphia friends and cons who pretend to be DEA agents in order to rob an unidentified house in the country. However, their small-time heist quickly turns into a life-and-death endeavour when they unwittingly uncover the largest hidden drug corridor on the Eastern seaboard.

Wagner Moura to replace Mando

After the conflict, actor Wagner Moura, best known for his appearances in Netflix's 'Narcos' and 'The Gray Man', will now take on the role of Manny Cespedes. Mando was ready to take on the role of Cespedes, a kind-hearted friend that Ray (Brian Tyree Henry) initially met while serving time in the youth authority before the firing. Moura will now fill that position. The remaining cast members include Will Pullen, Liz Caribel, Nesta Cooper, Kate Mulgrew, Amir Arison, Ving Rhames, Dustin Nguyen, and Marin Ireland.

Mando's Achievements

Mando has starred in ABC's 'Better Call Saul', and played Nacho Varga throughout the show's six seasons. He got nominated for Best Supporting Actor by the HCA, Saturn, and Gold Derby awards for his performance in the last season of the series. He is also well-known for his performances as The Scorpion in 'Spiderman: No Way Home' and Vic in 'Orphan Black'. He also played Vaas Montenegro in the 'Far Cry' video game series. Mando is represented by Matthew Johnson of JSSK, Entertainment 360, and UTA.
