Contains spoilers for 'Better Call Saul' Season 6 Episode 2

We are just two episodes into ‘Better Call Saul’ Season 6 and things have started getting intense already. The first episode saw Nacho running for his life after assassins barged inside Lalo Salamanca’s house and tried to assassinate him. He has moved to a hotel in the Salamanca territory and is waiting for his “friends” to save him from the inevitable.

From the Salamanca Family to the police, everyone is looking for him and they intend to get him alive so that they can torture him. But Nacho (Michael Mando) is simply losing his mind and wants to get out. So, he takes the matter into his hands and escapes from the hotel. He soon realizes that his allies are also turning out to be his enemies. The episode belongs to Michael Mando as he gives an extraordinary performance of a man who doesn’t want to be a sitting duck.

Meanwhile, Mike’s (Jonathan Banks) relationship with Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) is getting really sour. In the previous episode, we saw Mike telling Gus what they should do and Gus completely ignoring him. In this episode, their bitterness reached a whole new level. Gus has finally realized that Lalo is ALIVE and ramps up his security. Mike tells him that he and some of their guys should cross the border and bring Nacho back because he’s a good man. Esposito replies with nothing and when he asks him to do something else, Mike just says no.

And that was it. This just made sure that Mike and Gus are on the verge of killing each other. Now, if you have seen ‘Breaking Bad’, you know what exactly happen to them, but it’s interesting to see how they got there.

On the other hand, Saul and Kim are doing everything necessary to make their plan work. Saul pulls out a scheme on two people he knows from his past, while Kim shows who’s the boss when she accompanies his husband while meeting the same duo.

All in all, there is not a single dull moment in the episode. Well, there hasn’t been a single dull moment in the previous five seasons and Episode 2 of Season 6 just continues the legacy. The episode is packed with action sequences. The scene where Nacho gets attacked will surely keep you at the edge of your seats.
