Shane Coopersmith is visibly tired from being overworked. Working a luxury superyacht is high-stress job and definitely not for everyone. But Shane was brave enough to take it up and making efforts each day to ensure that he doesn't let his team down. Since he's new to the business, bosun Eddie Lucas has given him endless opportunities to learn and get a handle on how things work on a yacht. But consecutive slip-ups has landed him where he should not have been in the first place and now runs the risk of losing his job.

Eddie has a lot on his plate and having school Shane adds to the pressure of leading the deckhands. He was shocked to see Shane taking a nap in the middle of the day when everyone else was working to prep for the next charter. He didn't want to wake him up and said that he'd take it up with him later. However, he lost the will to question his decision to take a break. But when he left the laz door open, Eddie decided to have a chat with Captain Lee Rosbach, who was aware of the slip-up but didn't question him beyond muttering "dumbass" seconds after Shane owned his mistake.

In tonight's episode of 'Below Deck', we will see Eddie and Captain Lee have a serious chat with Shane at the bridge (where important, life-changing conversations mostly happen). Will Shane lose his job over leaving a door open or will he be given a final shot at proving himself and how he is meant for the job? Time will tell. Meanwhile, fans are empathizing with Shane. Most say they feel bad for how he is being treated.

"I kind of feel bad for Shane. Eddie has a real attitude and also assumes he’s just a “surfer dude” and so doesn’t respect him or think he can do anything. His management style sucks #BelowDeck," a fan commented, while another wrote: "Eddie annoys me.. Has the patient and is glad to teach Izzy but is not the same attitude with Shane.. #BelowDeck."
