Kate Kane's (Ruby Rose) twin sister Beth Kane (Rachel Skarsten) went missing after a car that she was in with her mother, met with an accident. Kate escaped before the car fell over the bridge and into the river.

Their mother died and Beth went missing. Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott) and his daughter Kate searched the surrounding areas for months before Jacob was informed by Catherine Hamilton's (Elizabeth Anweis) DNA experts and security personnel that skull fragments found recently matched Beth's DNA.

Jacob gave up on the search despite Kate's insistence that Beth's alive. The show has, so far, been about this forgotten daughter, who was assumed to be dead, now transformed as Alice, to exact revenge.

The promo of the upcoming episode titled 'The Mad Tea Party' shows Alice finally get her hands on her father who she has harbored hate for, over the years. She has made elaborate plans to torture him and to revel in his pain. This is something that Alice spoke about in the previous episodes of 'Batwoman' and the promo reiterates her desperation for revenge.

In episode 7, Alice used Jacob's face as a mask, which was then used by Mouse (Sam Littlefield) to enter Crows Security. The real Jacob was out of town and the fact that Mouse replaced him was revealed at the end of the episode.

There is a high chance of Mouse continuing the charade as we see a quick glimpse of Jacob pointing his gun at Sophie Moore and another Crows Security person. After kidnapping Jacob, Alice seems to be holding him somewhere Kate is likely unable to track because we see Kate ask Alice, "Tell me where dad is."

We also see Jacob drown in guilt in the promo as he tells Alice, "I failed you." In response, Alice says, "Thank you, for making me who I am today." In what seems like a different scene, Alice further says, "For 11 years, I have dreamt of revenge."

So it is not very likely she would let go of Jacob that easily. We also see Kate as Batwoman attack Alice in an attempt to find Jacob's whereabouts. She strangles Alice in her desperation to find her father.

'Batwoman' Episode 8 will air Sunday on The CW at 8 p.m. ET.
