Batwoman Episode 3 'Down, Down, Down' to see Alice go after father Jacob even as her caped crusader role entails fighting for Gotham

For Kate to fight Alice and come away victorious, she needs to be objective about how Alice is wreaking havoc as the leader of Wonderland.

In the previous episode of 'Batwoman' titled 'The Rabbit Hole', we saw Kate Kane (Ruby Rose), aka Batwoman, confirm that Alice (Rachel Skarsten) was her sister Beth who she and her father Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott) were told died in the same accident as Kate's mother. The official had even found skull fragments that matched Beth's DNA and so Jacob stopped searching for Beth. Kate, on the other hand, had always believed that Beth was out there somewhere and when Alice ends up at their favorite waffle place after getting Kate's secret message, her suspicions turn out to be true.

We also saw that Alice has always harbored a hatred from her father, Jacob, because she believes that she was abandoned by him. So, in the third episode, titled 'Down, Down, Down', we see Alice call Jacob directly to tell him that she is coming for him. We see Alice tell Jacob, "You should be ashamed commander", and he responds, "I am coming for you." It is clear that the animosity between Jacob and Alice is going to make things difficult for Kate who is stuck between her father and her sister. She definitely cannot stand by when Alice continues to target Jacob and attempts killing him.

She also hasn't been able to accept that Alice is not the Beth that she knew as a child. Alice is definitely turned into a cold-blooded killer who is now thirsting for revenge against her father. However, for Kate to face off against Alice and come away victorious, she needs to be objective about how Alice is wreaking havoc in the city as the leader of the Wonderland.

Kate needs to understand that not doing anything about Alice would only fester into something big that would definitely eat away at Gotham. Now that Kate has also accepted her role as the caped crusader and has managed to make the batsuit her own, she would have to first and foremost fight for people of Gotham who believe in her and everything else would have to take a back seat and that includes her love interests.

'Batwoman' episode 3 will air on Sunday at 8 pm ET on The CW.
