'Basketball Wives' Season 9 Full Cast List: Meet Shaunie O'Neal, Evelyn Lozada and rest of the ladies on VH1's reality show
'Basketball Wives' have completed eight seasons and it's soon returning with its next, which says a lot about how popular the reality show has gotten over the decade. It has successfully amassed loyal viewers who are more than thrilled that some of the OGs are returning to crank up the drama. Assisting them are a few newcomers, who, from the looks of it, are not too behind when it comes to stirring the pot.
A bunch of ladies and a few good drinks, you know there's going to be fireworks. But what follows after is usually not very pleasant. If we look at what has happened in the past, there will be a character who speaks out of turn to make a very shocking remark, triggering a bitter argument. Yes, this year all this will happen and possibly often because the wives are put in one mansion they live out of. This season was shot before and during the pandemic.

But for now, let's what the ladies will be feuding about. Read on to know more about each of the wife's storylines.
Shaunie O'Neal
Talking to FOX5 Atlanta, Shaunie says that they started filming for the current season in January and they were not too far along when the world went into lockdown. The cast and crew picked up from where they left in November 2020. That gap made all the difference because everyone went through changes and the people Shaunie shot with earlier were not the same when they walked into the mansion.
Malaysia Pargo
She may be pulled up for getting work done but that is the last thing on this wife's mind. She is more focused and invested in raising her children right. This year, we see her contemplate on how she can best educate her kids about police brutality and how to handle a tricky situation with an officer of the law. While this seems to be the basic narrative, we are sure she'll add more content to it as we progress along the season.
Jackie Christie
She has one goal — all the other ladies to get along. Will she realize her dreams or is it too far-fetched? Only time will tell. This apart, she will be directing her energies towards establishes businesses she has been worked hard for some time now.
Evelyn Lozada
She was apparently involved with Marc Anthony, a month before the 'BBW' team resumed shooting. Will that be a part of her story? We cannot confirm it yet but we do know that it was just another rumor, which the singer's representative confirmed to US Weekly. According to Marc's team, the star "simply offered Lozada and her family to stay in his house while he was away."
Jennifer Williams
A lot of Jennifer's screen time will involve addressing messy breakup with ex Tim Norman, who was accused of conspiring to murder his own nephew, Cheatsheet reported. He was a part of 'Welcome to Sweetie Pies', a reality show that saw Jennifer appear a few times to shed light on their relationship and how blissful it had been, until she realized that she was being abused by Tim. All of this, she alleged and there's no way to confirm it until we hear the other side of the story.
Kristen Scott
She was introduced in Season 7 as Malaysia's cousin but soon the cast member was able to find her own footing in the show by serving mention-worthy drama, which will hopefully, continue this year as well when she fights social injustices and lends her voice to the Black Lives Matter movement.
Ogom 'OG' Chijindu
A no-nonsense person, OG is known to say it like it is. When Evelyn filed a lawsuit against OG for defamation, no one thought she would return, given how wronged she felt at that point. But when the cast and new season was announced, fans were left with questions. Most asked the star why she decided to make a comeback, and she had one very simple yet logical answer. "I’m just here so I don’t get fined," she said on 'The Wendy Williams Show.'
Feby Torres
She is returning with a new man and we hear that could be a cause for a feud among the ladies. She was dating Los Angeles Lakers player Lance Stephenson since 2013.
Liza Morales, Nia Dorsey, Noria Dorsey
They are new members, so it will be interesting to see what they bring to the mix. Let's just hope they are confirmed as regulars by the end of the season because the trailer tells one can expect a lot of drama from these ladies.
