'Backyard Envy' has returned with Season 2 and has not wasted a minute in establishing that they are here for taking landscaping to the next level. While the team at design firm Manscapers - Melissa 'Mel' Brasier, James DeSantis and Garrett Magee - spoke with their first clients of the season, Jake and Sophia, we also got a sneak peek at Mel's past.

She is passionate, ambitious and a mother to a toddler. Mel loves her job but is riddled with 'mom guilt' for not being able to spend much time with her little one. But is it the only reason why she wants to drown herself in work. Mel was experiencing pain when she decided to see a doctor about it who told her she had a cyst, which needed to be removed. They ran a few tests further and found out that those cysts were cancerous and therefore she had to undergo a hysterectomy.

But all's good now. It's been a while since she has been cancer-free but lately, Mel's been experiencing stabbing pain that concerns Garrett and James. They feel Mel has taken up more work so that she can focus on the projects they are handling and not spend time thinking about another health scare.

Meanwhile, fans cannot stop praising Mel for sharing details of such a personal experience.

"#backyardenvy Mel!!!!! I love you!!! It’s tough girl!!! Thank u for sharing such a sensitive private subject," a viewer commented.

"You’re not wrong. They want to get personal this year and have drama after we never personally connected with them last season to begin with," a user responded when another said that they should not have introduced the Manscapers' personal lives.

"My heart definitely goes out to Mel. I am sending my love and prayers to her," a fan wrote.

But Mel's tough. On the way to Long Island, James and Garrett checked up on her and asked if she was doing okay. But she told them off in the most polite way possible. Mel was not interested in discussing her health anymore but she appreciated the concern from her friends.
