'Bachelor in Paradise' season 6 teases high drama and a same sex relationship

While we have to wait a few more days to see what goes down this season, here's a spoiler-free preview of what we can expect

Time to grab your margaritas and piña coladas as it's almost time for paradise - not just any paradise but 'Bachelor in Paradise'.

Now that 'The Bachelorette' season 15 has come to an end, with a shocking finale, it is time for the sixth season of 'Bachelor in Paradise' to begin. The forthcoming series has already got us hooked as the contestants are mostly from Colton Underwood's season of 'The Bachelor' and Hannah Brown's season of 'The Bachelorette'.

With the premiere of 'Bachelor in Paradise' barely a week away, the trailers and Chris Harrison teased that there is quite a dramatic season ahead. The series also dropped a bombshell with a trailer that revealed that there will be a same-sex couple on the show.

While we have to wait a few more days to see what goes down with this season, here's a spoiler-free preview of what we can expect in the forthcoming season of 'Bachelor in Paradise'.

The recently released trailer begins with Cameron Ayala saying, “When in Paradise, beware of those in camouflage. Watch for hairy situations, saltwater, and please clean up after yourself.”

We are left curious as to what mess Ayala is talking about. Speculations state that Ayala might be talking about former Bachelorette suitor Blake Horstmann, as the contestant was looking stressed in a scene where he talks to Kristina Schulman saying, "I made my bed and now I’m going to sleep in it."

She teases him back "Did you change the sheets?” The series trailer also teases a possible growing relationship between Dean and Caelynn Miller Keyes. Jordan Kimball jokes saying, “Dean’s mustache swept Caelynn off her feet."

The trailer also featured a scene that shows that 'Bachelor in Paradise' is going to go down in history with the first same-sex couple on the show. The first trailer that was released teased Demi Burnett — a former 'The Bachelor' contestant who appeared on season 23 — kissing a mystery woman and then declaring her love for her.

This is reportedly the first same-sex couple that has been portrayed on the highly dramatic reality TV series. And we can't wait to see what happens on the season releases on August 5.

'Bachelor in Paradise' season 6 will premiere on ABC on August 5. Check your local listings for more information.
