SAYULITA, MEXICO: 'Bachelor In Paradise' Season 9 was quite a dramatic ride of emotions, fun, drama, heartbreaks, and betrayals. Among seven finalist couples, only two pairs got engaged during the finale.

John Henry and Kat Izzo, and Aaron Bryant and Eliza Isichei are the only two couples who got engaged during the 'Bachelor In Paradise' Season 9 finale episode.

Kat and John confirmed their exclusive relationship after their romantic date. The couple also started planning a future together.

John told Kat, "I don’t have any interest in being with anybody else." He confessed to the cameras, "I'm definitely falling for Kat and I think the next step for us is to potentially have an engagement here."

Meanwhile, Eliza and Aaron also looked forward to life outside of Paradise. Aaron admitted to Eliza, "I really, really am falling in love with you more every day. I really am."

However, viewers were left stunned mainly by Kat and John's engagement. An X user tweeted, "Kat and John Henry getting engaged is the REAL most shocking season finale yet."

Another person added, "Still can’t believe Kat and John Henry are engaged but hey! They’re happy! So I’m happy for them! Also congrats to Aaron & Eliza, and Kylee and Aven on going strong!"



 



 

Another viewer penned, "I’ve never seen someone say their gut feeling was wrong but I’ve definitely seen them say their heart was… so good luck to John Henry and Kat with their engagement."

Another Twitter user wrote, "Kat and John Henry are still together I’m shocked but ig at least all her scheming wasn’t for nothing." Another internet user tweeted, "KAT AND JOHN HENRY ENGAGEMENT WHAT THE ACTUAL F**K IS HAPPENING????"



 



 



 

'Bachelor In Paradise' Season 9 couples spend a night in Fantasy suites

Just ahead of the final rose ceremony, 'Bachelor In Paradise' Season 9 couples John Henry and Kat Izzo, and Aaron Bryant and Eliza Isichei spent a romantic night in Fantasy suites.

Fantasy Suite brought both couples together as they finally decided on their future. Eliza admitted engagement "scares" her. However, Aaron did not seem afraid of the commitment.

He said, "You freaking out, it just makes me want to protect you." The couple toasted with champagne before spending the night together.

Meanwhile, Kat felt relieved when she woke up beside John, noting that he didn't snore. She admitted, "Last night really showed me who he is and where we could be."

Kat told the cameras, "I see him as a husband. I see him as the father of my children."

Which 'Bachelor In Paradise' Season 9 couples are still together?

After John Henry and Kat Izzo, and Aaron Bryant and Eliza Isichei got engaged during the 'Bachelor In Paradise' Season 9 finale, the viewers got some tea on their current relationship status.

Eliza and Aaron have been working on some "speed bumps" in their newly found romance. Meanwhile, Kat and John Henry remain "happily engaged" and are planning to start their lives together in San Diego.

In a post-Paradise update, fans learned that Kylee and Aven's relationship has also "blossomed" since filming ended.

Who got married in the 'Bachelor In Paradise' Season 9 finale?

ABC has been teasing a romantic beach wedding since Season 9 kicked off. Couple Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin-Solis got married during 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 9 Finale.

The loved-up couple met on 'Bachelor in Paradise' two years ago and got engaged on the beach. Kenny and Mari tied the knot for the first time in Puerto Rico back in November 2023.

ABC show host Jesse Palmer officiated Kenny and Mari's wedding. Meanwhile, Season 9 former contestant Blake Moynes returned to the beach to serve as Kenny's best man.
