Spoilers for 'Artificial: Remote Intelligence' Episode 4

The third season of acclaimed Twitch show 'Artificial', 'Artificial: Remote Intelligence', is well on its way. Now as the drama continues to develop, the show has brought Dr Matt Lin (Tohoru Masamune) back on in a more antagonistic role. The fans were understandably excited to see the original AI creator of the show returning. And there's one fan theory going around that suggests Matt may have some secrets he's hiding.

"Long shot but I am wondering if the globe on Matt's table is his own new AI," one fan wrote on the show's Discord. "Was there an Ada-like globe?" another fan asked. "I wonder if he would even want to attempt a new AI."

"Well, Ada was more of a light, Vamadeus. At least that's what I thought her to be," yet another fan answered adding, "Just curious but isn't it possible that Matt created a backup of Sophi's OS which would contain her memories to a point in time like we do with hard drives?"

In any case, Matt is now a part of the project and we're sure we'll see more of his agenda as the show develops, but not next week. Next week will be another worldbuilding episode guest-starring Dante Basco, beloved for his role on 'Hook' and his voice acting roles on 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' and 'American Dragon: Jake Long'.

Dante Basco (Twitch)

"Heck yeah, Dante Basco! Bringing on the Basco sauce!" One fan wrote celebrating the news. "I love to see POC actors working. Especially in Sci-Fi."

"I love Bosco period," another fan declared. "And create a character live again for him," yet another fan wrote. "Such a unique welcome I’m sure from the performer's perspective!"

Showrunner Bernie Su joined in writing, "Love how you're all excited for Dante. Cause so are we!"

We really are excited to see him on the show and we can't wait to see what character the audience will come up with. Perhaps another researcher or a relative of one of the co-hosts? Maybe he could be Lilith's (Tiffany Chu) new sculpting instructor? Whatever role he plays, we won't just wait and see, we'll be actively helping to create it.

'Artificial: Remote Intelligence' streams live on Twitch, Thursdays at 6 pm PT / 9 pm ET.
