'Arrow' Season 8 showrunner shares final page of series finale script hinting at a heroic end for the Green Archer

Two action-packed episodes of 'Arrow' have set the tone for what will be the most explosive and sentimental series to date. It looks like Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen may finally get the rest he needs in the season finale.

Producer Marc Guggenheim shared the cover page to the final episode 'Fadeout' on Twitter where the content is heavily redacted. However, there are two words, "Of possibility..." that are visible.

Guess it will be a heroic ending to Queen's Arrow and it may be unlike any we have ever seen. This theory also suggests Green Arrow and the Canaries spinoff will be having a backdoor pilot.

According to comicbook, Guggenheim and the rest of the Arrowverse producers are almost done shooting what can be termed as an exhausting run of episodes.

You can check out the tweet here.

Meanwhile, 'Arrow' still has eight episodes to tell the story of Oliver Queen. The end of the series will connect to The CW's mega-crossover, 'Crisis on Infinite Earths'.

Going by the comics, 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' was a 12-issue mini-series that focused on the greatest battle in cosmic history.  The  Anti-Monitor (the Monitor's evil counterpart) is unleashed on the DC Multiverse and begins to destroy the various Earths that it comprises.

This leads the Monitor to build an army of superheroes and villains who team up to save all that exists.

The final moments of 'Arrow' saw The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett)  return to collect Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) after he makes a deal with the Archer to save Barry Allen aka The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl (Melissa Benoist).

The ending was a direct reference to the impending 'Crisis' and also reveals Oliver's death.

Here's The CW's schedule for the next big crossover:

'Supergirl' — December 8

'Batwoman' — December 9

'The Flash' — December 10

'Arrow' — January 14

'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' — January 14

Season 8 of 'Arrow' airs on Tuesday nights at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW.
