Netflix 'Army of Thieves': 5 things you never knew about Nathalie Emmanuel
Netflix will soon drop 'Army of Thieves' and we can't help but get excited. The Netflix movie serves as the prequel to 'Army of the Dead' which was ridiculously fun and so we have high expectations from its predecessor story.
Written by Zack Snyder and Shay Hatten the movie will be set at the start of the zombie outbreak and will focus on the character of Ludwig Dieter a master safecracker we met in 'Army of the Dead'. But this time he's not a complete master yet but is in fact still perfecting his trade. Set six years prior to the 'Army of the Dead' event we will see Ludwig hired by a mysterious woman to pull off a heist along with a misfit crew of aspiring thieves. Nathalie Emmanuel as Gwendoline
Nathalie Joanne Emmanuel is a British actress and model. Emmanuel began her acting career appearing in theatre in the late 1990s, bagging roles in various West End productions such as the musical 'The Lion King'. Making her TV debut in 2006 she starred in the soap opera 'Hollyoaks'. She got her big break when she was cast as Missandei, Daenerys Targaryen's interpreter, in HBO's fantasy drama series 'Game of Thrones' which saw her get much love from fans.
In 2015 she starred in 'Furious 7' and later got a role in the movies 'Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials' and ' Maze Runner: The Death Cure '. She began her acting career by appearing in a Vodafone commercial.

Matthias Schweighöfer as Ludwig Dieter
Matthias Schweighöfer is a German actor, voice actor, film director, and producer. Born in Anklam, Western Pomerania, Schweighöfer attended Berlin's renowned acting school Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts, but dropped out after one year. His first role in a feature film was 'Raus aus der Haut' after which he appeared in critically acclaimed projects such as 'Soloalbum', 'Off Beat', 'Das wilde Leben', and 'Rabbit Without Ears'. In the 2008 film 'Valkyrie' he was cast as Lieutenant-Colonel Franz Herbert following which the film got an international release. This opened the door for the actor to get more English-speaking roles. In 2010, he made his debut as a film director with the romantic comedy 'What a Man'. Schweighöfer appeared in the Netflix film 'Army of the Dead' and will reprise his role in the upcoming prequel film, 'Army of Thieves'.
