Are Jessica Vestal and Chelsea Blackwell friends? ‘Love is Blind’ star confronts shared love interest after heartbreak on Netflix show
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: 'Love is Blind' star Jessica Vestal recently shared that she and Chelsea Blackwell harbor no hate or hard feelings after the events on the show and that they remain good friends.
She expressed happiness for Chelsea's engagement and impending marriage, highlighting the strength of their bond as friends.
Contrary to reality show tropes, Jessica and Chelsea formed an unlikely friendship rather than engaging in a feud over shared love interests.
In a post-show interview with ET Online, Jessica elaborated on her EpiPen statement, providing clarity on the matter.
Additionally, Chelsea showed support for Jessica on Instagram, revealing how the two did not share any hard feelings for each other after whatever happened on the Netflix show.
On one of Jessica's posts, Chelsea commented saying, "I love you sweet Jess," to which Jessica replied, "I love you an insurmountable amount, friend. Your happiness > my heartbreak."

Jessica also recalled her EpiPen statement, and clarified how it had nothing to do with Chelsea and that she was sad for herself.
"I said, 'You're gonna choke when you see me.' I didn't mean it in just the physical sense of the word. I meant in every sense of the word because I know how much I have to offer someone," Jessica said highlighting her iconic statement on the show.
"I was heartbroken for myself, but I was also over-the-moon excited for Chelsea, knowing that she was going to be getting engaged and potentially married…But I was surprised. There wasn't an alternative reality in my mind. I thought Jimmy and I were going to leave there together," she added.
Jessica shares regret about 'Love is Blind'
Sharing her regret from the show, Jessica expressed that she wished she had the opportunity to have a good talk with Chelsea before she got engaged.
"I wish I would have been able to tell her my over-the-moon love, excitement, and support that I had for her," Jess explained.
"I went into it thinking I'm gonna have time to work out," she told E! "But you're so emotionally invested and the dates are so—like, the conversations you're having take so much out of you emotionally, that when you have a little bit of downtime, you just want to chill and rest," she added.
How did Jimmy propose to Chelsea?
In the fourth episode of the season, Jimmy confessed to Chelsea that he loved her, leading to a messy breakup with Jessica.
"I was absolutely devastated. I was more than heartbroken. But you know what? There was going to be something better for me, and it was not you," a tearful Jessica declared. She also informed her ex that he was going to "choke" when he eventually saw what he missed out on.
Jimmy then popped the question first, and Chelsea accepted his proposal. She then broke up with Trevor, who had been hopeful about their connection.
