LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: While 'The Bachelorette' was approaching the end of its 20th season, it appeared that Charity Lawson had unintentionally disclosed her winner. However, Charity finally sealed the deal with a kiss with Dotun Olubeko in the season finale, which aired on August 21.

Rather than leaving love to chance, 'The Bachelorette' follows the journey of a single bachelorette who must choose the perfect man from a pool of romantic possibilities. With over 20 guys fighting for the bachelorette's heart, drama and sorrow are certain.

Charity has a decision to make in Season 20 of the reality television program. Dotun has always been a strong candidate among the many men competing for her love.

What happened to Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko on 'The Bachelorette'?

Dotun took a literal leap of faith on 'The Bachelorette' for his first one-on-one date with Charity. Despite his phobia of heights, the 30-year-old integrative medicine doctor revealed in a preview of ABC's July 17 episode that he was eager to "conquer something" new before bungee jumping with the Season 20 lead.

For starters, Charity led him to her room for a "more intimate" talk during the 'Barbie' movie-themed group date, which Dotun finished with a rose. The Nigerian-born suitor drove the Bachelorette to tears when he said that Charity is a "kindred spirit" with confidence that he can learn from and has never experienced in past relationships.

"I feel some type of way," he explained. "It’s just so crazy to me to watch you become what I’m seeing as my ideal woman, and that’s a huge deal." Charity agreed that "there's definitely something" between them, telling Dotun that he'd touched her spirit and that she wasn't used to receiving such wonderful words.

When Charity and Dotun went on a trip to New Orleans early in the season, sparks flew. He's been a leader in the competition series since then, which means he may likely drop on one knee and win home the final rose. And, according to Bachelor blogger Reality Steve, he does exactly that, and the couple gets engaged in the season finale.

Are Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko still together?

Not only did Dotun propose on one knee in the finale, but he and Charity may have unwittingly revealed that they're still together. Reality Steve, on the July 7 episode of his podcast, referenced a set of photographs allegedly shared to their Instagram Stories around 24 hours apart, allegedly shot at the same restaurant, Dutch Fred's, in New York City, where Dotun presently resides.

He did, however, warn that "there’s no way that Dotun and Charity were at the restaurant together at the same time, sitting at the same table, having a romantic dinner together" since the "whole point of the show is to keep the final couple hidden as much as possible."
