With British boxing making its return for the year, Anthony Joshua's next fight is back on track. AJ will be fighting Kubrat Pulev and could find himself fighting at the O2 Arena for the very first time since 2016. Originally slated for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in July, the match could now take place in front of 2,000 fans in November now, according to Eddie Hearn.

Joshua marked his entry on the world scene when he defeated Erik Pfeifer of Germany in the semis before losing by a single point against Magomedrasul Majidov in the finals. He went into the 2012 London Olympics, where he received a tough draw in the last 16 of the super heavyweight event. He was also appointed as Member of the Order of the British Empire in 2013 for services in boxing. Last year, in December, he got his big game back on track after his Masterclass victory over Andy Ryiz Jr in December last year. AJ is now ready to put those belts right back on!

Kubrat Pulev, who will be fighting AJ, is a Bulgarian professional boxer and has held the European Heavyweight title twice in 2012 and 2016. As an amateur, he has won multiple medals in various international tournaments. Here are all the details you need to know about the match:

Where will it happen?

The location of the match is tentatively scheduled to be held at the O2 Arena in London. The gaming complex is also called 'The Dome' and is named after its primary sponsor, the telecommunications company O2. In an interview, Hearn told Telegraph: "We are working towards crowds in October and the end of November for Dereck and then AJ. It may be a case of convincing people to attend and going through the right procedures to get people into the O2 Arena."

When does it start?

The promoter of the show Eddie Hearn has told talkSport that the fight will take place in November or December.

What about Tyson Fury?

It is confirmed that Joshua will face Tyson Fury in British Heavyweight Championship after he comes through his clash with Pulev. Eddie Hearn hasn't revealed much about the match. Moreover, it all depends on the Covid-19 situation. We will update this article as the story unfolds.
