While Marvel has released their new movie slate for the next few years, conspicuously absent is a mention of any 'Avengers' films. Yes, Avengers are getting their own spotlight across the films and TV series, there are no heroic teams left to keep Earth protected from the constant threats coming their way. In the wake of the Avengers' disassembling, there is perhaps no better time for the appearance of another team that, historically, rose in the Avengers' absence - the Young Avengers.

Fans have been wondering for a while, now, when the Young Avengers will make their first appearance, and the answers may finally be on the horizon. According to reports, while the team won't be assembling in their own movie yet as far as anyone knows, they're set to make their very first team-up on another Marvel movie - 'Ant-Man.'

According to a rumored report by Geeks WorldWide, Marvel is looking to introduce the Young Avengers in 'Ant-Man 3,' in whatever incarnation is possible. The road to this has been well paved, as Cassie Lang (Abby Ryder Fortson) has been aged up in the five years after the snap-in 'Avengers: Endgame.' Cassie Lang grows (no pun intended) to be the hero Stature, using her father's Pym Particles to both grow and shrink.

Also being introduced to the MCU is Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) in 'Hawkeye' on Disney+. In addition, there are rumors that Billy Kaplan and Tommy Shepard, the soul-displaced children of the Scarlet With (Elizabeth Olson) and the Vision (Paul Bettan), will make their appearance on 'WandaVision,' also on Disney+.

In the comics, the Young Avengers were formed by a time-traveling teenager calling himself Iron Lad. following an Avengers fail-safe protocol, to make a new team from the next generation of Avengers. Iron Lad turned out to be a younger version of supervillain Kang the Conqueror, who wanted to prevent his dark future. The Young Avengers first arc led to the first proper incarnation of the team including Patriot, Wiccan, Hulkling, Stature, and Hawkeye.

As Ant-Man's (Paul Rudd) daughter, Cassie Lang's appearance in 'Ant-Man 3' is all assured, for the rest of the Young Avengers, Marvel has yet to confirm one way or another as to their official appearance. In the meanwhile, 'Ant-Man 3' is still in the works, with Jeff Loveness penning the script, Peyton Reed directing, with Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas already signed on to reprise their roles for the third film.
