LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Andy Cohen has recently criticized the cast of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' (RHONJ) amid the controversy surrounding the show's reunion special. This season marks the first time in RHONJ history that there will be no reunion special, a decision Cohen attributed to events revealed in the season finale.

Following this, Andy Cohen slammed the RHONJ cast, and called out the issues during the reunion are due to the cast's failure to take responsibility for their actions. "This is not a group that takes accountability," Andy said to DeciderHe criticized the RHONJ stars for not owning up to their mistakes, which he believes has led to the chaotic and unresolved state of the reunion. Cohen's remarks suggested that the cast's lack of accountability is a significant factor in the problems faced during the reunion special.

He also dismissed recent rumors about casting changes for the upcoming season as false, stating that casting discussions are still in their early stages. Regarding BravoCon, Cohen acknowledged the event's success but indicated that it was too early to plan another one, with the next potential location still undecided.

Addressing legal issues, Cohen defended Bravo’s production practices in light of lawsuits from Leah McSweeney and allegations from Brandi Glanville, asserting that the network will continue its current approach. He also briefly touched on criticism from former RHONY star Carole Radziwill, who had accused Cohen of being vindictive in response to a recent profile about him.

Andy Cohen confims why ‘RHONJ’ cast trip got cancelled

Andy Cohen confirmed that the ‘RHONJ’ cast trip to the Berkshires was canceled because the property they planned to stay burned down. On his SiriusXM show, Cohen explained that the cast was scheduled to film at Blue Stone Manor, Dorinda Medley's house from ‘RHONJ', but a fire destroyed the location just a day before they were supposed to leave. Cohen said, “The house that they were going to stay at burned down. It was canceled literally the day before they were leaving to go.” He clarified that the cancellation was not due to the show being uneventful, as some rumors suggested.

However, a fan took on social media platform to clarify that the house is still intact and it was a garage that was charred.

Why was the 'RHONJ' reunion cancelled?

The 'RHONJ' Season 14 reunion was canceled due to intense drama and conflicts among the cast members. The season saw heightened tensions, particularly between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, which caused significant rifts within the group.

These ongoing disputes made it difficult for all the cast members to come together for a traditional reunion. Bravo decided to cancel the reunion special and instead air a "cast rewatch" episode where the group would discuss the finale in smaller, separate sessions rather than facing each other all at once.
