Why was Andrea Denver slapped by a guest? Fight leaves 'Summer House' fans divided
What's an episode of 'Summer House' without some drinks and drama? The recently aired episode of the hit Bravo show featured the housemates throwing a huge pool party and inviting their friends over to their Hampton's residence. There was a lot of drinking, dancing, and a fight as well. New house member Andrea Denver found himself being slapped and stomped upon by a guest at the party.
During the pool party, the handsome Italian model got a little too carried away with the merrymaking, so he picked up a guest and threw her into the pool. She looked a bit annoyed but swam her way back and got out of the pool. Noticing that she was upset, Andrea said she could push him into the pool as well. Even though she did take him up on his offer and pushed him into the pool, the girl's friends were not pleased with Andrea for throwing her into the pool without her consent. So when Andrea was enjoying his time in the water, one of her friends walked up to Andrea and shocked everybody by slapping him and stomping on his face while cussing at him for throwing her friend into the pool.

Andrea was completely shocked and caught off-guard by the attack. He felt that their reaction was a bit excessive as his face began to bleed. Paige DeSorbo came to his rescue and helped him out of the pool. She then demanded the girls who attacked Andrea to leave the party. After watching Andrea get beaten up by the guest, fans had mixed feelings about it. While some fans sided with the Italian hunk and felt that he didn't deserve to be attacked for throwing someone into the water at a pool party, others felt that Andrea deserved what he got for catching a girl off-guard and throwing her into the pool without her consent.
A fan who was unhappy with the guest's behavior wrote, "Omg poor andrea! he was so shocked and mortified all cameras would’ve been on me the rest of the episode ripping those h*** to shreds. #SummerHouse." Another fan tweeted, "Even though I don’t really like Andrea… that WASN’T cool of that trashy random chick to smack and kick him like that who tf is she!!!! TRASHY AF #SummerHouse." "Awe. Poor Andrea. That girl def shouldn’t have put her hands on him. Assaulting someone isn’t okay. #SummerHouse," added a fan.

Some fans however felt that Andrea was at fault for pushing an unknown girl into the pool, so he deserved what he got. A fan shared, "Sorry Andrea you don’t throw girls in the pool especially girls of color. I would have busted u in your head too f*** up my hair and mess up my iPhone, sh*t ain’t cute #SummerHouse." "Honestly though, if Andrea didn’t even know this girl and threw her in the pool, I’d be pissed too. #SummerHouse," seconded a fan. "Y’all are really defending a man who threw a woman in a pool without her consent and with her phone? Yeah, violence is wrong but Andrea was a dick for that move as well. #SummerHouse," pointed out a fan.
