'Andor' Episode 6: Will Vel Sartha die during the rebels' garrison raid?
Faye Marsay's Vel Sartha was one of the rebel leaders introduced in 'Andor' Episode 4 and it became very apparent that she would be one of the major influences for Cassian (Diego Luna) in his journey from a petty thief to one of the greatest Rebel officers. The rebellion — still nascent during that time frame was all about denting the Empire, and a suicide mission of raiding an Imperial garrison to steal the payroll was their way of the first attack.
The rebel leader stationed on Aldhani was one of the key characters introduced over the course of the season, and is as strong-minded as Stellan Skarsgard's Luthen. And despite the team's preps to make it out alive in one piece, it's highly unlikely that Vel will survive.

'Andor' hasn't shied away from killing characters without a second thought. Marsay's Vel Sartha, after reluctantly taking Cassian on board, gave him the most integral part of the mission. She's shown as a tough personality and is willing to lay down her life for the cause. In this case, it was only the mission that mattered, and Vel seemed more than happy to be the martyr. The mission storyline has already spawned two episodes and Episode 6 is where it all probably goes down. There are bound to be casualties and one of them could be Vel, making her the first key character to kick the bucket as Season 1 reaches the midway mark.
The official synopsis reads: "The Andor series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero."
