Welcoming a baby is a blessing and Amy Duggar is definitely aware of that. She recently took to Instagram to share with her fans that she was doing good after welcoming her son, Daxton Ryan King.

"My hair is 90 percent dry shampoo and I am sleep deprived. I am just resting and letting my body heal and that's all I could do," she said as she beamed with happiness while holding her son while dressed in PJs.

Duggar had her hair tied in a ponytail and spoke on the video without any makeup. She embraced her beauty and advised others to do the same.

"This is my new natural look and I think it is okay for new moms or for anybody to just post videos of themselves in their natural look and without any makeup, without filters, without beauty apps or editing," Duggar said in her video.

Duggar confessed that she did have some pictures that were edited on her social media but added that it is important for everyone to still love who they are.

"I still have some pictures that are edited, but, I mean, who doesn't? But it is okay to post pictures like this once in a while," she said. She added, "It is okay to post when you are not looking your 100 percent."

Duggar and her husband, Dillon King welcomed their baby boy on  Wednesday, October 9. The pair shared a picture of them holding their baby boy and captioned the image: "He's absolute perfection!!!"

Duggar went for a C-Section after the doctors advised her that there might be complications if she opted for a natural birth. Amy has shared her pregnancy journey with her fans until the birth of her child.

Amy shared the news about her pregnancy in April with an image of her and Dillon with balloons that spelled out "Baby". "BABY KING IS ON THE WAY!!! Happy Easter from our growing family to yours!!," she wrote in the post.

She recently took to Instagram to share another picture from the time when she gave birth and added that it had been a week since her son was born.

"*1 week old* Around this time last Wednesday I was being prepped for surgery..a little nervous but sooo excited to meet you! the moment they placed you on my chest my life had new meaning! This has been the best week ever! Mommy & daddy are completely in love with you Daxton Ryan!!"
