'AGT' Season 17: Simon Cowell signs up for deadly knife act by Blade 2 Blade duo, fans 'salute' in awe
After seeing a preview starring Simon Cowell, many 'America's Got Talent' fans couldn't wait to witness the knife-throwing pair of Blade 2 Blade. Despite having years of Got Talent experience, this knife-throwing duo managed to keep the crowd and judges on the edge of their seats.
Blade 2 Blade is one of the groups performing in the third round of the 'AGT' auditions. This group appears to include Michael and Tyrone Laner, as well as Julia Katharina. Blade 2 Blade seems to be a dangerous group comprised of two world-class knife throwers. Deadly Games on AGT: Extreme now has some competition in the world of Got Talent. In their professions, these brothers have featured as knife throwers both alone and together. They first appeared on 'Spain's Got Talent' Season 6 in 2021 as Blade 2 Blade. During their tryout, the brothers threw knives at portable targets, with the blades frequently falling off. They were then blindfolded and flung larger knives at each other. The duo's incredible knife-throwing precision wowed the audience and judges. They advanced to the semifinals before being eliminated. The duo later auditioned for 'France's Got Talent,' but was eliminated during the auditions.

The brothers, whose father was a knife thrower and mother, his target, approached the 'AGT' stage with great confidence and faith in one another. When asked where they saw themselves in a year, they said they want to be on all of the top shows in the world. The brothers quickly begin their performance by tossing knives at each other, paying attention not to hurt each other. To up the stakes, they are shortly blindfolded and try another swing. The judges and viewers were on the edge of their seats as the stakes increased.
Heidi expresses her fear throughout the performance. Simon, who said he couldn't imagine himself in such a situation, was shortly put in one. When the brothers invite him on stage to be a part of their performance, he initially refuses but eventually agrees. As the brothers take turns flinging knives across each other with Simon in the middle, viewers at home went to social media to express their concern. One concerned fan wrote on Twitter: "Literally this has to be one of the most intense danger acts I have seen on #AGT in a long time!"

One fan also points out the danger of the fact and mentioned the accident that took place years ago. The tweet read: "I don’t want to jinx it but I feel like if these guys make it through, it could go as wrong as the guy that almost got badly hurt with the flaming arrow during the live shows a few years back. Anyone remember that? #AGT".

Fans were skeptical about Simon sharing the stage with the brothers. They wrote in response to their concerns about the adored judge: "OH S*IT SIMON IS GETTING INVOLVED #AGT"
Being at the center of the act, Simon confesses how much it means to them to advance in the competition. Simon, like the other three judges, says "yes" to the performance, and the duo advances to the next round of the competition.
