'America's Got Talent': Meet Season 19 contestant Owl Man who starred in ABC TV series
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent' Season 19 is all set to welcome an entertaining novelty, Owl Man, whose real name is David Safier. Previously, Safier appeared on 'The Gong Show' in 2017 as 'The Owl Man,' where he received the gong.
During his ABC appearance, David Safier performed a song parody of The Jackson 5's 'I'll Be There' while dressed in an Owl costume. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Relations from the University of California.
The NBC show contestant, David Safier, has focused on pursuing entertainment and studied Improv Comedy at The Groundlings. According to his LinkedIn, Safier has also pursued Acting and Conducting at Santa Monica College. Additionally, he has recently completed the Entrepreneur Training Program in California.
Owl Man disguise as Parrot Man in 'America's Got Talent' Season 17
'America's Got Talent' Season 19 contestant Owl Man previously appeared as Parrot Man in Season 17 of the NBC show. He performed his zany solo comedy routine but unfortunately was eliminated in the audition round. Parrot Man was notably confused with the infamous Sethward, and viewers were expecting he might return to troll the judges again.
However, David Safier's Parrot Man act failed to become a fan favorite, branded as the 'most annoying act' of the season. Parrot Man returned for Season 18 to deliver a paid performance as part of a collaboration between 'AGT' and sponsor 'KIA'.

Owl Man aka David Safier was previously a drummer and has also performed during All-America Olympic and UCLA Marching Bands. He performed as a drummer in the 1983 and 1984 Rose Parades and Rose Bowl halftime shows. His appearances also extended to UCLA sporting events and LA community events.
David later performed in the Opening Ceremonies of the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles as well as at Olympic gymnastics, cycling, archery, yachting, and equestrian events. Additionally, he has also performed in the 1980 Mirage Bowl in Tokyo, Japan, the 1979 Bluebonnet Bowl in Houston, and the 1978 Fiesta Bowl in Tempe.
