'America's Got Talent: Fantasy League': Who is Kseniya Simonova? Ukrainian sand artist set to bag Golden Buzzer once again
UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent' is bringing another spin-off 'America's Got Talent: Fantasy League.' And, fans will see the return of the franchise's viral sensation sand artist Kseniya Simonova.
38-year-old Kseniya is a Ukrainian native. She got her artistry skills from her mother, Irina Simonova who is an artist, a theatrical designer, and a fine arts teacher. Moreover, she is a two-times golden buzzer artist of the 'Got Talent' franchise.
She previously was 'Ukraine's Got Talent' winner and came in 3rd position in 'America's Got Talent.'
According to Kseniya's LinkedIn profile, she is a sand artist, performer, and independent filmmaker. She graduated from the Artistic School of Yevpatoria and also went to the School of Fine Arts.
Kseniya also has a great interest in folk poetry and songs. She is also the head and co-founder of Simonova.TV Creative Group.
She describes herself, 'I have been performing for 12 years in about 80 countries of the world, for Royalty, at grand Galas, Eurovision-2011 and 2019 and other events."
Kseniya has performed in countries including China, India, Qatar, France, Europe, Australia, Thailand, and Bhutan. She had some prestigious audiences like President of Malta George Abela, and Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. British Royal family, Princess Marie of Denmark, Princess Lalla Hasna of Morocco, and Princess Sirindhorn of Thailand.
Kseniya Simonova is winner of 'Ukraine's Got Talent'
Kseniya bagged fame after winning 'Ukraine's Got Talent' in 2014. She bagged $110K prize money.
Kseniya became the 1st contestant who ever received two Golden Buzzers as she performed 'Never Give Up.' She then moved directly to the finale.
In the semi-finale, Kseniya performed the story of a young couple separated by World War II. She then won the season's title by performing a sand art, themed 'don't be too late.'
Kseniya Simonova came 3rd in 'America's Got Talent'
Kseniya was a contestant in 'America's Got Talent' in 2019. After her audition round, she got the golden buzzer from host Terry Crews and, indeed moved directly to the finals.
Her final performance was 'Love Always Wins.' After seeing her performance Simon Cowell dubbed it to be, "one of the most beautiful acts in the history of Got Talent."
She then came in 3rd position in the show. Recounting the experience, Kseniya wrote in one of her posts, "On this day 4 years ago I received my first Golden Buzzer on @agt Champions by @terrycrews. Later the same year I received the second one at @bgt Champions and still think it’s an awesome fairy tale that happened to me. Thank you."
Is Kseniya Simonova married?
Yes, Kseniya is married to a theatre director, journalist, and magazine editor Igor Paskar. They even have two sons of their own.
On her husband's birthday, she wrote, "Happy birthday, my Love! You changed my life forever! Can’t believe I know you for 16 years already! It’s almost 116😂 and let it be so! Love you forever."
'America's Got Talent: Fantasy League' will be released on Monday, January 1 at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.
