'America's Got Talent: The Champions' Season 2 crowned its winner on Monday night and sadly it wasn't dual-voiced singer Marcelito Pomoy who fans affirmed would win.

It was indeed a tight race to the finish line on Monday night, as we learned to expect the unexpected when it comes to the superfans' votes. Over the past couple of weeks, fans were torn between V. Unbeatable or Marcelito to walk home with the title. Fans predicted that one of the two will bag the title this season, and the other would be runner up.

Marcelito first appeared on 'Pilipinas Got Talent' in 2011 for their second season and emerged as the winner. He then came to 'AGT: The Champions' Season 2, and made it till the finals after the superfans voted him through the preliminary round, and semifinals.

For his performance during the grand finale, Marcelito gave a stunning rendition of 'Beauty and the Beast' by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson. He received a standing ovation from judges Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Alesha Dixon for the performance. Even Simon Cowell praised him but also said the performance was predictable.

As predicted, V.Unbeatable was crowned the champions and the best in the world, after they won the highest votes from superfans. But what shocked fans and viewers was when host Terry Crews revealed that Marcelito came in fourth.

Taking to Twitter upset fans call it unfair. "Marcelito Pomoy got robbed in the world stage. You're still our champion #AGT #AGTChampions," a fan wrote. Adding to that another said, "Host: 4th place is Marcelito Pomoy Audience: wait WHAT? You can really see that they were all shocked and disappointed. Still congratulations marcelito. Filipinos are so very proud of you."

"Marcelito pomoy literally got cheated. He should have won #AGTChampions," a fan wrote. While another shared, "Expected V Unbeatable to win AGT:The Champions. But I didn’t expect Marcelito to just place 4th overall. #AGTChampions."

"#AGTChampions y’all super fans really jacked that up. I’m so pissed lol. Marcelito should’ve won by a long shot," a fan said. Adding to that another wrote, "marcelito pomoy got cheated on #AGTChampions change my mind."

"Unbelievable, Marcelito should’ve been top 3 good grief #AGTChampions," a fan said. While another shared, "NAHHHHHH THEY JUST DID MY BOY MARCELITO DIRTY WTF!!!!! #AGTChampions."

"NOOOOOOOO!!! Marcelito was so good why!!!! How!!!! He didn’t deserve 4th #AGTChampions," a fan wrote.
