Evans recalls his first gig for Access Hollywood in 2015 when he got a call saying he had to do a 5 minute exclusive with Taylor Swift. The 5-minute conversation turned out to be a 20 minute one with Swift who has a lot to say, getting immersed in the conversation. At the end of it, she didn't realize the time and worriedly asked Scott if he got what was needed for the interview stating she hadn't had that much fun in an interview before. Shortly after that Swift's publicist sent an email to producers at Access Hollywood saying Taylor would love to have interviews with him whenever. The rest is history with Scott working with Access Hollywood ever since then, catapulting him as one of the most loved and sought-out interviewers in recent times. Scott says Swift quite literally changed his life and is grateful.
