Who is Bri Steves?

Bri Steves will be representing Pennsylvania on NBC's 'American Song Contest.' The 25-year-old singer/MC was signed to Atlantic Records during her time at Temple University. This gave her the opportunity to work with producers such as Sonny Digital, who has collaborated with the likes of 50 Cent, Drake, Future, and 2 Chainz. But, Steves' musical journey isn't something that she embarked on recently. She studied the viola at the Delaware Symphony Orchestra when she was all of 10.

As Steves got older she was inspired by the works of Biggie, J Cole, and Joey Bada$$. Their music also made her want to rap, eventually opening doors for her at Atlantic Records. Steves juggled college and work. The latter required her to hit studios in Miami, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. One of the major highlights of her life was when Kendrick Lamar asked her to sing at the 2018 Made in America festival. Steves belted out two songs, setting the house on fire with her skills.

Steves can be found on Instagram. She updates her feed regularly and seems to have quite a social life. She also publishes her music on Spotify
