If you've been keeping up with 'American Song Contest', you know that fans haven't exactly been on the same page about what the jury has to say. But now, with the top ten artists competing to make it to the top, the public has the power to crown the first 'ASC' winner!

Taking on the finals of 'American Song Contest' are -- Connecticut's Michael Bolton, North Dakota's Chloe Fredericks, Texas' Grant Knoche, American Samoa's Tenelle, Tennessee's Tyler Braden, Kentucky's Jordan Smith, Colorado's Riker Lynch, Alabama's Ni/Co, Oklahoma's AleXa and Washington's Allen Stone.

While the jury has been calling the shots so far, the grand finale saw the 'ASC' give the public more power. While the jury still voted, they were only allowed to give one artist the highest score of 12 points. With the jury divided into 10 regions -- the midwest, the upper south, New England, the plains, the mountain region, the lower south, mid-Atlantic, the territories, the south-west and the pacific west, 6 out of the 10 gave Washington's Allen Stone the higest score, leading him to top the jury leader board. However, when it came down to the public vote, he only managed to score 254 points, which put him in 5th place. Fans were shocked to see him score that low.

"Homeboy from Washington got robbed on #AmericanSongContest. Dude killed every heat." tweeted a fan. "Washington got robbed. @allenstone you are the true winner in my heart #AmericanSongContest" added another. "Really surprised Washington didn't win tho what a low f--king televote omg #AmericanSongContest" added another. "WASHINGTON NOOOOO!! AleXa is a very deserved winner, but gutted for Allen Stone even though a 5th place is amazing. At least he's a jury winner and given me more music to listen to! #AmericanSongContest" added another. "I could have SWORN that Washington was gonna get more votes #AmericanSongContest" added another. "Oklahoma winning is thanks to kpop stans. Washington was more deserving. #AmericanSongContest" said a fan.
