'American Song Contest': ENISA makes it to Semifinals 2 as a wildcard entry

Backed by her fans, it looks like ENISA's time on 'American Song Contest' isn't over yet!

The show is now down to the wire for all the artists in 'American Song Contest' as the Semifinals 2 are finally here. So far, fans have seen "live original musical performances, representing all 50 states, five US territories and our nation's capital, competing to win the country's vote for the best hit song." And now, the show is one step closer to declaring the winner.

So far, fans saw the following states perform in Semifinals 1 -- Alabama – Ni/Co, Colorado – Riker Lynch, Kentucky – Jordan Smith, Massachusetts – Jared Lee, Michigan – Ada LeAnn, Montana – Jonah Prill, New Hampshire – MARi, Oklahoma – AleXa, Rhode Island – Hueston, Washington – Allen Stone and Wyoming – Ryan Charles. Allen Stone won the jury vote and advanced to the next round, while the others from this segment still await for the audience vote results.

With Wyoming's Ryan Charles being voted as the wildcard entry by audiences, he made his way back into the running during the Semifinals 1, where he performed his song, 'New Boot Goofin'. 
With Semifinals 2 here, another artist has earned a wildcard entry, seeing that her fans' unwavering support has earned her a spot in the competition. New York's ENISA will be performing her song 'Green Light' in the second round of the semifinals, giving her a chance to make it to the grand finale.



 

As per her NBC bio -- "New York local ENISA has spent her whole life preparing for this journey as a first-generation American born to Albanian parents. Following her graduation from Brooklyn's esteemed Edward R. Murrow High School, she attended Brooklyn College and continued to develop her unique musical vision. A series of distinctive cover versions exploded across social media, earning her millions of views and critical acclaim from the likes of Complex, XXL, ThisSongIsSick and more. ENISA continued to hone her diverse musical approach, infusing contemporary soul pop with Middle Eastern flourishes inspired by her own Muslim heritage. Track releases like Scridge and Genda's viral smash "Karma (Remix)" and such solo singles as "Burn This Bridge" and "Wait for Love" showcased a spectacular knack for raw soul and endless attitude, earning her close to 16 million views and more than 3 million global streams. "
