'American Song Contest': Fans say North Dakota's Chloe Fredericks 'put Montana to shame'

Fans watching 'American Song Contest' was rewarded with some electric performances in Week 2 of the already-hit NBC show. One of the contestants was North Dakota's Chloe Fredericks' whose song 'Can't Make You Love Me' earned her rave reviews not just from the audience, but also on social media.

The contestants for this week include — Jonah Prill (Montana), Broderick Jones (Kansas), Jordan Smith (Kentucky), King Kyote (Maine), Jocelyn (Nebraska), Enisa (NY), Macy Gray (Ohio), Cruz Rock (US Virgin Islands), Almira Zuky (Virginia), and Courtship (Oregon).

"Great performance from Chloe from North Dakota. Gives me those strong 90s female proper music power vibes! "Yum yum, bluesy rock Chloe Fredricks did good y’all #NorthDakota #AmericanSongContest," a fan tweeted. Love is in the air. "HEY GUITARIST FOR CHLOE FREDRICKS….. I’m uh…I’m totally free February 14 if you wanna like- hang out or somethin… #AmericanSongContest," one of the comments read.

"North Dakota - Chloe Fredericks: “Can’t Make You Love Me” Wow, what a voice! I love that the song just starts with a huge BANG. Definitely put Montana to shame. #AmericanSongContest," a tweet read. 

The plaudits continued. "Chloe Fredericks has a little bit of Kelly Clarkson in her voice and has a bright future in music and she did a good job tonight on American song contest and I'm am casting a vote for Chloe Fredericks tonight #AmericanSongContest," one of the fans remarked. "Chloe Fredericks’s “Can’t make you love me” already feels so underrated. I’m really not into Country but I love this!! This track is so special, that song structure and that chorus are so strong!!
