'American Idol' Season 17: 19-year-old Myra Tran from Vietnam is definitely one to look out for this year

Her performance of Jennifer Hudson's 'One Night Only' left the judges floored. Tran received a standing ovation from judges and even got compared to likes of Kelly Clarkson.

'American Idol' is officially back with its 17th season. Host Ryan Seacrest and judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie returned for the second year in a row to find the next singing sensation. With just one episode of the auditions aired to date, the series featured hopeful contestants determined to win the title this season. Among the 12 contestants that received a golden ticket to Hollywood, one contestant that stood out was Myra Tran
